Colorado Farm to Fork Competition
Nine state legislators teamed up with growers and chefs to prepare dishes using local ingredients.
The only thing at stack in this “fierce” competition is a ribbon and the all-important bragging rights
This joint venture of the Colorado Agriculture Council and the Colorado Chefs Association highlighted Colorado eggs, potatoes, onions, dairy, wheat, beef, lamb, bison and pork.
The winning dish was Little Mary’s Bison Hodgepodge which was prepared by Chef Klaus Krebs of Isle Casino and Hotel in Black Hawk.
